Meet the Topaz Team
Miss Phoebe- Principal
Phoebe has been working at Topaz Dance Company since 2020 and became Principal in 2022. Phoebe has been training in dance since she was just 3 years old. Phoebe completed ISTD & RAD exams in Ballet, Jazz, Modern achieving high results and working her way up to advanced levels as well as examinations, Phoebe has participated in many shows both with her dance schools/college but also with external companies for which she had to audition for. Phoebe trained at Bridgwater and Taunton College doing BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma and received Distinction*Distinction*Distinction. Phoebe then went on to audition at two major dance colleges in London and was successful at getting a place in both. Phoebe is currently undergoing a teacher training course and an IDTA qualification.
Miss Lois- Teacher
Lois has been dancing with Topaz since she was only 4 years old and in 2022 Lois became one of our valued teachers. Lois has participated in many shows growing up and earned her first pair of point shoes in 2018 which had been a big dream since she first started ballet! Lois enjoys the freedom dance gives her and is really enjoying teaching the younger children on a Saturday as they begin their dance journey.
All our teachers have a valid and checked DBS and have all been informed about our safeguarding policy which you can view below.
